As we get closer to Christmas the stress can start to pile on, our desire to have the perfect Christmas can get the better of us, gifts not arriving in time, food shopping, cooking, cleaning, stresses about finances, missing our Ex’s, remembering past xmas’s etc… it can all be overwhelming.
The key is to stay grounded in your body… to be present and aware and to slow down.
The more in your body you are, the more you can slow down your breathing and reduce the mind chatter. Then you will be calmer, and you can choose to focus on tasks, one at a time.
The best way to ground yourself is to breathe all the way down to your hips, imagine the energy coming into your body and going down your legs and out through your feet.
Down from your feet all the way through the building you’re in, through the ground and right down to the centre of the earth below you. Right the way down, down down to the core of the earth, connecting with the earth energy.
Next, imagine breathing in the energy of the earth and bringing that energy up to your feet, you might notice a tingling sensation at your feet… it’s good you’re connecting… imagine roots growing from your feet all the way down to the core of the earth and imagine you’re breathing that energy back up to your hips.
Breathe in deeply and slowly.
Imagine extending your arms wide creating a circle around you… imagine roots growing down from that circle… all the way down to the earth… you will feel more grounded, centered, connected.
Take it all in…
Sink into the connection.
Now ask your heart what’s the three most important things you need to do today ❤️
Write them down, the most important first. Complete that task.
Then do the second one, then the third.
